Mental Health Information
There is a new parent/carer peer support group in South Tyneside.
The group aims to support parents and carers who are supporting a child or young person struggling with emotional or mental health.
Please view the flyer below for more information.

South Tyneside Council & South Tyneside CCG are pleased to announce a new range of training for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND.

Based on what parents have told us, we have pulled together a training programme covering a range of topics including SEND Law, Makaton, Challenging Behaviour and much more. The training programme will run for the next 12 months with lots of opportunities for parents to choose the training that’s of most interest to them. All courses are free to join.

We are now taking bookings for the first event: a series of training on SEND Law. These sessions will be delivered by Claire Jackson of SENETA (Special Educational Needs Expert Training & Advocacy). Click the link below to find out more about the sessions and book your space.

Information on all future courses will appear over the coming weeks
