Curriculum

We offer a meaningful curriculum which enriches the life experiences of all of our children.  It is broad and balanced, creative and promotes the spiritual, moral, social, cultural and physical development of pupils at the school.

The school curriculum comprises all learning and other experiences that are planned for our pupils and is based on the National Curriculum and  Foundation Stage Framework and the Development Matters guidance, but extends far beyond these. We encourage our children to think like scientists, historians, artists, theologians, to name but a few examples. We have, given great thought to the essential knowledge that we want our pupils to learn providing a wealth of opportunities to develop their essential life skills.

Our distinctiveness as a Church School means we promote Christian Values in every aspect of school life.  We are proud of our Christian family here at Holy Trinity CE Academy.  We follow the Diocesan agreed syllabus for Religious Education.

Our holistic approach to the teaching and learning of every child is intrinsically woven in every thread of school life.  The social, emotional and mental health of every individual child is paramount.
