Oxford English Dictionary
Holy Trinity Church of England Academy was created in September 2008 following the closure of two Church of England Schools.
On our creation the logo was developed and signifies the following:
- The triquetra represents the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)
- The line is unbroken and in our logo is a symbol of never ending love.
- The cross is central as it represents the core of Christianity - forgiveness.
- The dove represents peace - as we live at peace with each other.
- The rainbow is a sign of hope.
- The hands represent God's protection and love for us all as members of his family.
